“EDUCATION IS THE KEY THAT OPENS
DOORS TO THE FUTURE”

WHO WE ARE

Pathways-Africa is a non-profit, humanitarian Christian organization whose mission is to empower and assist the people of Africa through the mutual development of sustainable resources for community planning, education and health services.

our MISSION

Our purpose at Pathways-Africa is to create permanent change in the lives of men, women, and children in the locations we serve – Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Education and sustainable work are the keys to providing opportunities that have not existed in the past for many people. Self-sufficiency is what we strive to reach in the countries we serve.

our STORY

Since the beginnings of Pathways-Africa in 2009, our emphasis has been to work within Kakamega, Kenya; Isiphiwo Public Primary School and Ilitha Educare Preschool in Cape Town, South Africa; and Living Water Children’s Center in Arusha, Tanzania. Over time our attention has increasingly focused on education and health care projects in the target communities. Currently we are focusing most of our efforts on the Isiphiwo and Ilitha schools in Cape Town, and the establishment of the Pathways Women Empowerment and Girl Child Support micro-enterprise in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. We have assisted with school supplies, clothing, computer labs, textbooks, water tanks, athletic equipment and the building of a kitchen and classroom in the schools to better meet the needs of the bulging population of students.  The Victoria Falls micro-enterprise provides employment for local women sewing sanitary kits for women and girls, as well as washable waterproof diapers and baby blankets.
